'burt fucks the bees' is one of the posts of all time. also Coca-Cola was incredible, hats off to whoever was doing that one. I had forgotten about/didn't have screenshots of some of these. I think "Brand Exclusive register of Verified Truth" is one of my favorite phrases i have ever written

@jonny @dustin @controlfreak The person running Coca-Cola was a legitimately awesome person, and the modified comics they did were pitch-perfect.

Like, they could've absolutely passed for the real brand, and I don't think anybody would even be mad.

towards the end I was basically just posting elseviers actual marketing copy and the academics were getting very confused and upset

I liked how Google and other surveillance capitalism conglomerates got it and were announcing partnerships. it is a good group. I love the alternate reality game that unfolded afterwards, I stopped following the instance after the impersonators got banned but I love it

We've actually relaxed a lot of our policies with that stuff, so maybe there's a chance for Round 2? 😛
