Gregory's Server@Gargron Get rid of the nonsense about people signing up to Mastodon.social by default. Change it to a random instance of the Fediverse. You'll suffer less.

@jpavonabian @Gargron Or at least random between instances that meet appropriate guidelines. What's the point of federation of 97% of users are on 5 instances? |
@jpavonabian @Gargron i have to agree with this. it should be even further dumbed down so that users feel like they're choosing a 'name that suits you' with a random list of instances with different domain names. that way they feel like they're tailoring it to themselves.
