@zkat I am constantly thinking about this. Literally the #1 reason I went self employed

One of the main reasons I'm currently self employed was I just wanted to find a place that would just pay me to program while I was at work. But hard as I tried every place insisted they were also paying me to *not* program while I am *not* at work

Tech cos: Hire self-motivated people. People so passionate about code they program even on their own time. If you look on their Github and don't see open source contributions, don't hire them.

Also tech cos: So as part of your contract you must sign this IP assignment agreement
