@eris There's also a quote that is all too often attributed to Terry Pratchett:

"Satire is meant to ridicule power. If you are laughing at people who are hurting, it‘s not satire, it’s bullying."

Although, it's not Terry Pratchett who said that, it was someone else, and the origin of the quote is probably lost to ether, but it's the thought that counts, and it's a very valid one.
