the "racist harassment" that I did was talking about are0h profiting off of harassing trans people btw, never brought up race. That's just the excuse he sticks to to justify being as abusive as he wants.
I absolutely stand against cishet men abusing their platform and power against people. There's a reason why are0h can easily bring in thousands of dollars for potential projects while every trans admin is out here scraping for change to keep their servers alive

In all seriousness, snowdin reminds me of mastodon.lol where the admin decides to shut down and cut everybody off instead of just handling criticism properly.
I think that's sad and avoidable.
I think that's ultimately why I've kept Disqordia up as long as I have. It's easy to buckle to criticism and run away, it's a lot harder and emotionally and mentally difficult to face it head on and try to grow from your mistakes and be a better person without changing identities or instances

When the internet is gone because of climate change and worsening capitalism, let's agree to meet in Oregon and start a post-fedi commune where we splinter into five hundred different communes that all hate each other
@eris There's also a quote that is all too often attributed to Terry Pratchett:
"Satire is meant to ridicule power. If you are laughing at people who are hurting, it‘s not satire, it’s bullying."
Although, it's not Terry Pratchett who said that, it was someone else, and the origin of the quote is probably lost to ether, but it's the thought that counts, and it's a very valid one.
That last reply, like, they don't realize it but it's kind of the point. Decentralized systems can be used by anyone, regardless of if those people share your values or even if they're safe or a threat.
You can collectively block bad people like fedi does, but you can't control who uses it because something decentralized is accessible to everyone. You can mass block or have some shared blocking but that's about it
