That is true actually. Something to consider.
Twitter has 130 million daily users of whom 13 million generate 90% of its content.
Mastodon has... 8 million accounts? How many people generate content? Say 1.6 million due to moderation doubling participation.
If a potential customer base shrinks from 130 to 8 or 13 to 1.6 maybe... you can see that this would induce anxiety on an untested platform. 😀
