@christianselig This sucks, #Apollo was legit the only #Reddit app worth a damn after Reddit ruined Alien Blue. Big🖕to Reddit for this. Haven’t been on Reddit since this shit was announced and I have no intention on ever returning… This feels like the Digg debacle all over again 🙄.

Please consider making an iOS app for #lemmy

@wicked82 @christianselig I was an Alien Blue user and remember that debacle. I can’t believe the terrible official app shares any DNA with it. I’ve learnt my lesson now. I don’t trust #Reddit and will be deleting my account.

I remember Digg too. Maybe I’ll check on Slashdot (I probably won’t).

@howrandom @christianselig Alien Blue was my go to, then #Reddit came along and fucked that up. I remember giving it a try after the rebrand and quickly noped the fuck out after thinking “wtf is this shit?!”

Yeah it seems Reddit has forgotten how it became so popular. If people dumped Digg over some BS I don’t think they’ll have an issue ditching Reddit either. It might not all happen at once but more of a slow bleed 🤷🏻‍♀️. Only time will tell. Only reason I will be returning to Reddit is to delete my account. ✌️ out Reddit.

@wicked82 @christianselig I only stuck around after Alien Blue because of the 3 or 4 years of premium we got. The website was still usable then, especially without ads.

I do hope Reddit and Twitter implode in the not too distant future. 🤞
