@christianselig any decentralized options like #Mastodon for #Reddit?

@jford @christianselig Lemmy is the big one - think 'community" instead of "subreddit", but same idea. Cmtys are relayed amongst lemmy instances, but it'll show you if a community is "homed" by a particular instance. Only difference is communities have a 'home" instance. for example there's an AskLemmy on lemmy.ml. I can see that on lemmy.ca as AskLemmy@lemmy.ml. Supposedly there's a way to sub to communities from mastodon but haven't figured that out yet. @jford @christianselig Other fediverse platforms like Kbin and Friendica can speak to Lemmy communities, threads and comments too. @jford @christianselig Nvote.co seems to be trying to build a HN/Reddit style link sharing site on top of Nostr protocol @jford @christianselig There is lemmy, but iβve been hearing enough about its flaws to not really want to recommend it (see https://mstdn.social/@feditips/110476830253102884 ) |
