I'm very glad I already started getting into Mastodon. The writing has been on the wall for a while, but this whole API debacle is really sealing the deal on me abandoning the platform.

Not sure I could say it better. I'm just getting setup here on Mastodon (also awesome band) and I am going to miss Reddit, but when you start chasing money over content and form, people leave.
