@ianewing @elijah @christianselig Yeah there are no other real explanation, especially since they are pairing it with the API not being willing to serve NSFW things, so they are targetting 3rd party applications, their official application is utter garbage, so it's the only way they can compete. @elijah @christianselig @christianselig wow, that’s harsh. Also weird, and unlike many analogus APIs (YouTube, classic Twitter, etc) which try to align developer costs with server costs |
@elijah @christianselig it’s almost certainly meant to kill third party applications and push users to their in-house app. They have no interest in making the api usable.
