@Lledelwin @ovid @Souristine For a hospital in Etterbeek I expected more yellowish colours 😅 (etter is a Dutch word for pus) 😂 Indeed ! But it come from Ietrebecca / Iatrebache - Ieter-beek : the rapid river. @Lledelwin @ovid @Souristine yeah, I went online to find out how the name came about, but I like pus stream/river better than the actual meaning 🤣 And you're right about the fate of those rivers after city development 🫣😅 @bumblebeedc @ovid @Souristine Germ life in every river of every city in 19th (Where are the Brussels rivers ? Rebanded as 'Sewer' with a brick vault ontop) @Lledelwin @ovid @Souristine I couldn't believe it but found more photos on Google maps: https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/113748562758350264562/place/ChIJH2L8wOrEw0cRRPBYreTLarY/@50.8793921,4.6053631,11z/data=!4m6!1m5!8m4!1e2!2s113748562758350264562!3m1!1e1?entry=ttu I know ! Isn't it wonderfull ? The last one are the "Jackson Pollock activity for children / oups, did someone escaped from surgery ?" stuff I've seen on my one eyes. @Lledelwin @ovid 🤣 @Souristine Dr Frankenstein wrote a 5 Star review on Google. 😂 @Peternimmo @NatureMC @Lledelwin @ovid @Souristine It's hard to find words to describe how absolutely insensitive this is. |
