@paul @dansup It’s definitely not good: wooden writing with lots of monologuing, wasted AAA acting talent, missed world-building opportunities.
But I still found it super compelling because next to nothing on popular science fiction grapples with the implications of climate change.

Seems like you missed the entire point, how can you claim those things but ignore the fact that the AAA talent and monologues played a crucial part.
This isn't a Marvel franchise, why you talking about 'world-building' when it's about the complete opposite?
Reviews like yours are misguided and detrimental to those you share them with, like can you not just appreciate something without complaining?
