@doctormo @tasket I think Blender Today is one of the biggest community build exersises. Where Pablo streams every Monday regarding blender news, what's happening in the community ranging from art to add-ons and what cool stuff people have done with blender this week.
The closest is your weekly reports the only difference being they're pre-recorded.
Neither option is better than the other but steaming has the advantage of getting people's question answered quicker either by the host or other viewers of the stream.
It's unfortunate that many Free software projects don't do this, the closest you can get is someone deciding to write an article and interviewing the developers and rest of the community.
