@revk @inkscape EULAs might or might not be enforceable depending on jurisdiction. And in the end it might not matter all that much. If you're just a creative type using the tools or a small workshop, will you be inclined to go to court and fight against a lawsuit from Adobe?.. Most likely you won't. Because that means years in litigation and a lot of money with a very uncertain outcome. So all this armchair lawyering is pretty irrelevant, IMVHO. |
@rysiek @inkscape well I mean from a copyright point of view, which is the only reason you need a “licence” in the first place.
If they have revoked/terminated the licence, but you don’t need a licence to run it, what do they sue you for exactly?
