https://mastodon.social being down, presumably because they're testing some of their latest features they're working on, and in the process kicking 1 million out of the 11.8 million people* (thanks @nemobis for the correction) from the fediverse is a good reminder to check out other Mastodon instances, or even other fediverse networks.

@stefan The reason why I kept away from the big-name instances. I'm happy at @hosting. Meanwhile, traffic from elsewhere still flows on my Federated timeline.
