@rysiek I dont really understand what they mean :blobcatgiggle:
For example: Twitter is just one platform with a set of rules, if you dont like or follow them you are out
The Fedi has thousands and thousands of different servers with each their own rules so always something for you or even setup your own and you are still connected to the whole network :blobcatgiggle:
Soo yeah, i dont understand what they mean

I have seen this argument (being allegedly taken hostage by an instance administrator): this could have been an attempt of expressing compassion towards users of an instance that has been blocklisted.
However, this view seems to miss the complexity of a situation, eg. an instance might have been wrongly or arbitrarily blocked (lack of evidence, outdated data, misunderstanding, inadequate moderation in the past, etc.), or it hasn’t been taken off a blocklist (imperfect appeal procedures).
Before users decide to migrate away from a blocked instance, there should be another track exhausted: there should be an effective appeal procedure and fediblocks should not be of undetermined duration.
Yes, it is also the case of 101010.pl instance. Ii think this instance is now unfairly treated, but I do not now what to should be best done to have it delisted. (I’m just a user - not an admin).
