@michaelsteeber There's a new one *sorta* rolling out (opt in, though, so most windows apps will never see this) but it's not much better.

@michaelsteeber having pantone colors as a system-level feature in 1996 is absolutely wild. openstep knew what’s up from day 1.

@michaelsteeber iirc you were able to drop an image into it and use that as the color picker source. so you could drag the crosshair around that if you had a brand gradient or something.

If you poke around Windows 11 enough, you will be able to find UIs that last changed before I was born
