@atomicpoet @apples_and_pears Tiktok, Instagram and Twitter now prefer users to not use hashtags the algorithms promote posts without them. It means that users have to put effort into their descriptions, no more hashtag soup is a good thing particularly on Instagram.
A new app not acknowledging their existence at all is the natural extension of this.
