@realcaseyrollins @developerjustin @EU_Commission @Barredo Why should there not be any pressure on them? What makes the freedom of a profit maximizing legal construct to do what it wants important? If the government protects their right to profit in the market (through IP and copyright protection), then I don't see why it doesn't create limits on behavior either. @nix @developerjustin @EU_Commission @Barredo Wait wait why are you supporting government regulations? You're literally an anarchist... @realcaseyrollins @developerjustin @EU_Commission @Barredo I'm not supporting either. Both are legal constructs, so I don't see what's objectionable about one trying to make the other behave as long as they both exist. I don’t think most “anarchists” know (or would like) what would happen if anarchy were actually a thing. I like the usb c thing though, it’s so annoying to have to deal with different cables.
