@jacqueline @Natanox Ooooh, jPod! It sounds like gay, has your first initial, and it’s at least one step better than an iPod! @jacqueline @aphistic @Natanox 👋 G’day! As one of the maintainers of the podcatching software formerly known as “iPodder” let me reassure you Apple’s lawyers will 💯 get in touch to point out any possible confusion between your names and their trademarks. @jacqueline what is this? Are you building yourself some kind of modern music player? Love the color @jacqueline how well does this circular touchpad work? also: will it work through a case?
@jacqueline ayyyyyy it looks sweet! @jacqueline That ticks all the boxes, I can already picture it next to my turquoise iPod mini :Blobhaj_Ani_Hophop: @bradanlane it's just three electrodes for the wheel. we get surprisingly good accuracy from them! @jacqueline - I just found a Microchip guide with several touch sensor layouts including the circle. @jacqueline I fully endorse this endeavor. I would love to carry around an iPod-like device and a phone that only does phone things again, like the good ol' days. @jacqueline I mean, I still have my iPod, but it's a wee bit long in the tooth, especially because the Classic was the worst iPod in all aspects except for the fact that it went up to 120gb. @jacqueline 👀 is there a repository to follow or something ? will it runs rockbox ? @jacqueline this is soooooo cool. Is there a repo I can follow? Would live to build something like this one day... @jacqueline ohhhh i miss a good mp3 player... Choices now are wildly expensive audiophile DAP (like $700+) or the cheapest POS possible. @jacqueline looks neat, I would totally get one of these if my fruit branded music player died. @jacqueline Extremely cool - I have a nano-scale version of this project in my backlog. I'm considering of using the mini touchpads from Blackberry phones in place of a clickwheel, but maybe I should be doing an in-PCB clickwheel too 🤔

@jacqueline I’m not sure I’d use it these days but I’d sure as hell buy one! That’s a pretty neat device you have shaping up.
