 Your home timeline displays this message when you've seen all the posts. I'm finding it annoying though, like heavy users would see it too much and light users might never see it. I think we should show at least the latest 3 posts and then this, even if you seen the latest 3 posts. Wdyt? #pixeldev #ux 10 comments
 @dansup right, but I think the message that we’re “all caught up” could be smaller, i.e. smaller box there @dansup are you trying to make a useful tool with well-defined purpose or are you trying to ~~~maximize engagement~~~? this is a no-brainer if you know which you're trying to do  Instagram needs this thing because of the confusing algorithmic feed. From my own experience, with a chronological feed, you don't need this — you remember what you've already seen and just stop scrolling on your own when it appears.  |

Personally, I would think it's a bug when I see 3 already seen posts before seeing this information. I'd leave it like it is. Memories sound nice though, but go with a different layout (like a colored bar on the side to differentiate it to regular posts)
