But all the stuff about Microsoft "acting super casual" and beancounters and saving the Fediverse from Big Tech is, IMHO, handwaving disconnected from the facts.

But would you be especially sad if 95% of the Fediverse was running in Azure?
I’m not saying that’s your goal. But I don’t think you’d be turning away business either.
