Supporting ActivityPub doesn't necessarily mean it will federate with the fediverse. The article mentions logging in with Instagram credentials. That may suggest a diversion from fediverse norms. Truth Social is also a stolen bastardization that doesn't federate. In any case, if they get anywhere close to the fediverse it's cancer and must be completely shunned
