@nazgul The rate I saw was $149 for up to 5,000 calls (or something like that). And yes, everyone else knows it won't fix the bot problem at all - this is just deja vu of "Charging people for Twitter verification will fix the bot problem". |
@SmartmanApps the rates Iβve seen going around are for the professional tier that already exists. The only one Iβve seen about whatβs going to replace free is Elon musing that maybe $100 a month would be good . He claims this is to cut down on spam...but spam bots donβt use the API, they pretend to be users using the web interface. It will certainly make it harder for people monitoring hate speech and misinformation though. Plus useful things like the bot the captions videos for the deaf.
