@gamingonlinux Because it's the kind of minor but obvious presentation detail where the devs are certainly aware of it, intend to fix it at some point, but don't consider it a priority and are probably right not to. "Why not file a bug report instead of making an offhand comment?" is a good question to ask, but in this case it really is because the criteria for a bug report are different from the criteria for an offhand comment. But thanks for asking and making me think about it.

@gamingonlinux I'd say a combination of experience and obviousness, but if you want something more concrete, here's a previous bug report on the subject: https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/issues/841 Appears I guessed wrong about the motivation for not fixing it; it's not "we'll get to it but it's not a priority", it's a deliberate stylistic choice. "The" gets ignored but "a" and "an" don't. I think it's an odd decision, but ultimately it's theirs to make. |
