@geordie That’s a 3 year old art sticker posted by its creator on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B7q6Idfjsru/?igshid=1nqqyaq6izik2 @vonneudeck I was entirely unaware of this slang and that is hilarious. “entworfen von Kartoffeln” 😂 @vonneudeck @geordie Funny when you consider that potatoes first came to Germany in 1630. King Friedrich II off Prussia loved them and helped to make it popular. But it only became a part of Germans' daily diet in the 19th century. @geordie I dunno about you but im currently driving to my nearest VWKFC crossover venue, not yet on mushrooms and coke @geordie I'm pretty sure that these are custom made, rather than strategically peeled. The alignment is too close, the result too clean, for that. I have a similar image to this: @sasha_strange @geordie Yes, exactly. Also, KFC does not use “free range chickens” nor does it usually have mushrooms on its menu. @peterbutler @sasha_strange @geordie and why would Mushrooms be capitalized? Pretty clearly satire. @sasha_strange @geordie well that one could be seen as honest advertising though 😂👍🏻 @geordie Mushrooms and Coke... So that's how they do the German engineering. : ] @chris_e_simpson @geordie Nice! In the 90s we used to have a similar sticker on random places street action, it was called "terrorismo poético" (poetic terrorism). A mix between a bit of chaos, food for thought and acid criticism against corporations. This is the way. @devinprater @geordie Two things. One, this is glorious and I'm dead. And two, this is how you write an image description. As a blind person, I thank you. @geordie reading this immediately made me think of the “Barbie Liberation Organization” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbie_Liberation_Organization @geordie I can't offer any insight on tuber-designed chicken-burning cars, but driving them on cocaine and hallucinogens sounds fun. @geordie I'm not really sure I should be driving on mushrooms and coke even if an ad tells me to 🤔 @geordie I'm as sure as I can be that it's Photoshopped. Still delivers the lols though 😅 @pauledevans when I posted it a few people chipped in with who the artist is. They do a bit of stuff like this. @geordie That's a fokawolf creation.. https://www.instagram.com/fokawolf/ Responsible for this gem.. @geordie for those who don't know, this is a fake advertisement (or, I should say, combo of advertisements) Artist is here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B7q6Idfjsru/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= @geordie "designed by a team of hand picked potatoes"... that kinda sums up automotive engineering in Germany. @geordie It also implies that KFC sells cooked mushrooms, which would be nice of them :-) (Though I really want the potato wedges back.) @danmac yeah I periodically mute it. Weeks after it I still get people responding, some of them to tell me who the original person was that did it and accuse me of some weird sort of copyright theft. @geordie when I first saw it I just wanted to know the KFC that sold Mushrooms and Coke :P @geordie experience driving on mushrooms and coke eh.... I think that's what they've been trying..... 😂 |
@geordie I'm not going to endorse driving on mushrooms and coke but I think I'm okay with the rest
