Hello Friends,

Wanted to make a note that our current roadmap is on our website: tapbots.com/ivory/#roadmap

We are a small company of 3 people and only 1 of us replies on this account. Between all the emails and messages here, it's hard to always answer everyone, but we do our best. If your question doesn't get answered here, it's not because we don't care. It's just impossible to always be around to answer everyone. Please always add alternative text images every time you post them. On #Mastodon it is a standard code of conduct. Otherwise you exclude people who cannot see the images.

@ivory A future update aimed at increasing the number of characters allowed for posts? They are now limited to 500, although some mastodon servers allow many more characters

@ivory Would you gonna add "server announcements" to ivory? it seems to be needed, but as you might know there is no lots of apps that supports it.

I'm especially interested in a Mac app, which would sync with an iOS app.

I currently use Ice Cubes, which I very much like for its features on iOS. But running it on a Mac has issues. So I'm waiting for Ivory to get the features I want.

But since the list doesn't get updates, I thought you might have paused development.

@ivory is there support for icloud sync of the mac and ios clients as it was with tweetbot? i dont see it in the roadmap so maybe i missed where to activate that?

@mgiraldo It should already be working! You can see the status or any potential issues if you go to Ivory's settings on all your devices and check the "Sync Status” section. Should show when the last read/write times were.

@ivory looking at your roadmap as of today, I'll let you know I REALLY want those custom emoji. The only thing I don't like about the app right now is that I have to keep seeing `:emoji:`. It would be nice to be able to use them as well.

@armandsarkani Nope. Probably won't happen unless we get through all of our major features and have time for it or if Apple releases a more affordable headset and it gains better adoption. There's a ton of work involved to build a native VisionOS version. We'd love to do it, but it would be a huge waste of time and resources now.

@Kit That's not true either. We've been putting out updates every few months. This next update is just taking a bit longer because we are trying to get a lot of things done this release and life has gotten in the way a bit as kids get out of school and summer begins. 🙂 But we are hoping to push out bigger updates more frequently over this summer.

@Kit Ah yea we try not to spam followers with a bunch of posts, but we do post when we put out big updates or have any relevant info for our users. 🙂 You can always turn on user notifications for our account if you want to make sure you don't miss any updates or news.

@ivory is there any way to see just the regular posts (not posts and replies) for an account when I click "View All Posts" on the account page?

by default it seems to show both posts and replies, which makes it really hard to scroll down and find an older post I'm looking for from an account
