@AAMfP @nerdypepper IDK about 34 keys, but I was quite happy with 42.

If you asking for a piece of advice: you don't have to switch to the new keyboard completely in one go, you can migrate gradually. Building a good layout for compact keyboard is an interesting pet project, which can take from hours or days to weeks depending on intensity, size of the keyboard and the end goal.

Figuring out optimal layout isn't trivial, but getting used to it is not a problem usually.

Thanks. Now I have two TKLs (max twice per week work from home), so if I'll buy, say, the Lily58 Pro, I'll have to commute with that, or use it either home or office: I'm scared to become uncomfortable with both TKL and split. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Yes, finding a layout is not easy! I'm now on "Italian (142)" so I can use both accented letters and programming things like { and `.
I'm studying Miryoku layout to extend it for the Lily58 Pro. But I'd love to try a split before buying...
