@abcdw @AAMfP @nerdypepper IDK about 34 keys, but I was quite happy with 42. If you asking for a piece of advice: you don't have to switch to the new keyboard completely in one go, you can migrate gradually. Building a good layout for compact keyboard is an interesting pet project, which can take from hours or days to weeks depending on intensity, size of the keyboard and the end goal. Figuring out optimal layout isn't trivial, but getting used to it is not a problem usually. @abcdw |
@abcdw @nerdypepper I've never been able to get the hang of home row mods. I love using them, but I've had trouble getting the timings set up properly in firmware because of my inability to stop "rolling" my fingers across keys when typing.
