Theoretically, even Republicans care about power efficiency and making optimal use of scarce resources--more gaming per charge, more value per dollar, etc. The issue of course is that value is overshadowed by the value they receive by enjoying tabloid news and culture war outrage.

@gamingonlinux I used to play on the Xbox 360 a lot when I was a kid. The one thing I liked about it was the fact I could forget about the world around me when I was playing. This is an opportunity to hack and remove these features from the new consoles that are coming out. I am aware that some people can mod their Xbox so they can play pirated games. It cant be that hard to remove any restrictions such as a slow boot up time.
