Right-click on a Tab Stack and select the pin option from the context menu and free up the space an entire stack uses on the tab bar.

You can now pin Tab Stacks no matter how you prefer to use Tab Stacking - Whether open in Two-level Tab Stacks, Accordion style, or Compact.

Settings in Vivaldi 5.6 also got an update with a splash of color 🌈 added to the icons and categories regrouped accordingly.

Click the βš™οΈ gear icon (in the bottom left corner by default) to check it out yourself.

If you prefer things more monochrome, enable "Use Monochrome Settings Icons" in Settings > Appearance.

@Vivaldi With this, how do I do open a new tab outside of the pinned stack.
I have Mastodon, Gmail and WhatsApp in my pinned stack and

I want to say... go to Amazon but not have it be part of that tabbed stack?

I have the pinned tab stack just like your screenshot.

If I press Ctrl+T to open a new tab, I don't want that new tab to be part of the tab stack that I am on.

I want that tab to open in a regular non-stacked tab.
