 @janl Issue to track here -- it actually merged cleanly with 4.0 so I will probably make a PR upstream and see what happens https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/16556 @darius A couple of people here on mefi.social have been wondering when being able to follow hashtags like in Mastodon 4 will come @rodneylives The next release will have v4 parity. It is going to come at the earliest whenever the *next* Mastodon release happens, depending on what bugs and tweaks happen in that fix. If the new year comes around and they haven't addressed what I think are the major issues with v4 then I am likely to just fix them myself, which will unfortunately result in greater divergence from Mastodon and more work for me, forever |
@darius TIL exclusive lists. 😍 is this really not wanted by the mainline distro? That alone would get me to move to Hometown.
