What I do is go to the instance directly macaw.social/directory & look at the user directory and follow ppl with interesting posts.

Following sometimes needs you to put in your handle, other times it needs you to copy theirs. IDK why there are two ways.

I'd love to be able to browse an instance without leaving mine.

I'd love if following users on other instances didn't require copying and pasting.

on desktop there is a ink on the bottom left

on mobile, hit the ... go to the about page and then down the Botton you'll find the profile directory link
