@bastianallgeier @apas_csc yes, if you didn’t use the . then only they and people who followed you both, would see a tweet @bastianallgeier @apas_csc @billheywood it seems so weird now but I kinda miss it Twitter back in 2010 was such a great place @apas_csc @bastianallgeier oh, but that started later on because Twitter filtered the tweets as described in the replies. Before that every follower saw all tweets, regardless of what was put in front @apas_csc @bastianallgeier I think this might still be relevant. If you start directly with a @ in your new tweet, it'll be classified as a reply on your profile, so you wouldn't get to see it unless you clicked "tweets and replies" on someone's profile. |
@apas_csc If you wanted to mention someone but at the same time the rest of the timeline should see it as well.
