@elight Let me guess - you CTRL + V'd it into the browser? π
It's a bad habit of browsers to only copy the first frame of a gif during copy + paste. Too bad both Tenor and Giphy are owned by either Google or Meta to collect even more data, otherwise it probably would've been already integrated into Mastodon. π
