Gregory's Server@Gargron I've heard complaints from people who find the whole "choose a server" thing intimidating. They just want to sign up on Mastodon and take it for a spin. Maybe add an option to get signed up on a random general-interest server.

@isaac32767 @Gargron yes - I think a good ux is for new registrants to get assigned a random instance. Take the guesswork away for people not yet accustomed to mastodon. They can always move later if they want
