@skobkin I can't speak for others but I just heard of Mastodon today in a twitter thread. There was also a wallstreet journal article about mastodon. So I decided to check it out!

Yeah. I saw such articles.

Although I'm making video about Mastodon for newcomers right now I think it's an overreaction.

But I'll be glad if people will like this place. The more people uses free technologies the better.

Sorry, my video will be in Russian because I saw a bunch of good videos about Mastodon and Fediverse in English, but in Russian it's either 5 hour lecture or 5 minute bullshit that doesn't help at all.

If you want to see something in English I think you can easily find something on YouTube. For example couple of days ago @theexplorographer did an introduction on Mastodon. Check it out!
