Gregory's Server@Gargron Something I wondered. Is it possible to make a private server? That is not visible but you can get invited to?

@nemobis Invisibility is not per se a requirement, but I was wondering about it. Thx! @baltussen @Gargron I'm pretty sure you can configure it to not federate. And of course you can always make it that people cannot create accounts publicly. |
@baltussen Invite-only is easy, but if you want it to be invisible it needs to be "defederated". May be possible with some forks of Mastodon like glitch and some tinkering. https://glitch-soc.github.io/docs/features/local-only-toots/
