@gargron Just an idea: Is it possible that an interface can be created to show the load of servers during registration e.g. via the official Mastodon apps? Linked to the note that there may currently be performance problems on server xy.

In this way, the expectations of new users can be appeased somewhat, or they can also choose alternative server instances.
