@healyn Enter your words, and any posts you've made that contain all or any of them will come up. Surround your words with quotation marks to limit results to the exact way you've written them.

@healyn At least in the web interface you can click "load more" if there's a lot of results and go through all of them.

I'm not sure I understand how e.g. Google or Twitter search would handle this better (for what it's worth, you can search your posts through Google by adding "site:mastodon.social healyn" to your search query)

@Gargron Eugen, I was only making a joke, and this site is better than twitter imo. but you can search on twitter for posts containing certain phrases between certain dates by certain users. c'mon

@healyn The sad thing is that you can limit your search by author and by dates in Mastodon as well, it's just not part of the web interface and I'm not sure if any app has added that functionality 😔

@Gargron i forgot the first app i had on my phone. i was able to do that. this is only an issue for me when i'm like, "oh, what was that song i was thinking of?"

@healyn The most feature-rich Mastodon app is Subway Tooter on Android, no doubt. Perhaps they have that.
