It really makes you appreciate those still around, show them some love once in a while, it could mean the world to them!

@Gargron Mast, mastodon.technology, anfora and dozens of other projects. I know we started our projects with no intentions of building our own first party apps but as time goes on, it's becoming evident that we can't solely rely on 3rd party app developers. Building our own apps gives our users the sense of continuity in the face of 3rd-party chaos. @dansup @Gargron this is sorta in the same vane as I was just making a post about here on SocialHub https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/maintenance-of-fediverse-client-apps/2599 We need to do something more to embrace the client apps that are not "official" because their existence makes us stronger |
