@dansup The dev docs he linked are over my head. Is their federation compatible at all with ActivityPub or the rest of the fedi? Or did they build a different standard?

@Gargron could still be interesting if it isn't crap. Fediverse could bridge between the protocols and Mastodon could support both.
But not sure, that it won't be crap atm. Let's see what the future brings.

It's probably either ads or some kind of cryptocurrency/token promotion.

I have difficulty believing they are doing this platform for non-financial reasons.
