that's what they're after. so many places just want to know your postal code.. why? does this arouse somebody? @Gargron had exact same issue, turns out if there are less than 5 items in inventory they can't sell you something through online (right now everything apart from work table / chair is less than 5 in my area stores). Also I've not tried buying anything that's plenty in stock to know for sure if all online purchases are messed @Gargron they’re really efficient when it comes utilizing every scrap of material in their inventory, but when it comes to e-commerce, especially during a pandemic, they really drop the ball @Gargron Yup. I confronted IKEA folks in the store about a lamp I wanted to buy. They then checked in some inventory system and told me that "Oh yeah… that item is seasonal and is no longer produced. So even though it says available it is neither in stock nor will it be until maybe the next year" So yeah. @Gargron another frustrating thing is that you can't order "big" and "small" products (i.e. table and cutlery) in the same order. "big" are delivered by their own delivery while "small" can be delivered only by external contractors. @Gargron I know why :-) They are working on their webpage. It should be in order by now. @Gargron Because my daughter tried to order something, and the same happened to her. So I called them and they explained 🙂 |
@Gargron lol 😂 that’s a fact!
