A remake in my style of the original character by Kasuga for the unofficial mascot of Wikipedia, a Krita artwork licensed under the CC-By-Sa-2.5, Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 Generic. Wikipe-tan reads and edits the Wikipe-tan page on a transparent neon retro-futuristic tablet with a stylus. I changed her costume to take distance from the maid costume not really aligning with what I wanted to depict. She is a focused reader and editor.

@davidrevoy je crois voir un détail suite à ce que j'ai lu dernièrement mais du coup je suis biaisé
Par contre j'aime bien les logos, on dirait des écouteurs 😛

@xalofar Merci! Je suis curieux du coup pour le détail. Le seul que j'ai caché est une inscription* sur son ongle du pouce, un truc qui était sur la robe originale, mais comme j'ai remplacé son costume j'ai casé ça là.

(* the symbol "ワィ" which is a misspelling of the katakana "ウィ" that was present in the previous logo from Wikipedia. )

@davidrevoy my first impression was that something is a bit off. but in a context of «focused» state it’s just great! I mean, I had a feeling she was somewhat detached from the reality, as if in this very moment she was unaware of the world around her. maybe it’s just me, :) but I always am impressed by how some subtle details can change the mood and overall impression. =)
