@piratenpanda The private beta is limited to friends and family of @dansup who aren't on the fediverse so as to provide valuable feedback before the public beta. Patreon donors will have priority early access to the beta once ready.   @pescetarian @pixelfed nah I dont think it will be end to end encrypted, but that is to be expected. Its not a messaging service. @edendestroyer @pixelfed @pescetarian @pixelfed I know, hence why its good to simply not use it as a messaging service, since you can also share links to the post with anyone on matrix or signal @edendestroyer @pixelfed ok not p2p but maybe some light encryption?! On server side... From server owner. @pescetarian @pixelfed e2ee and p2p aren't exclusive to each other. E2ee can exist without p2p, as it usually does. @edendestroyer @pixelfed Sory I'm talking about alternative of End-to-end encryption E2EE (not p2p) my fault, I got confused in the title.... @pixelfed how did you select the beta participants? Not Patreon obviously which is a bit sad. Hope to see it soon though.
