@jerry@infosec.exchange yeah i was a bit skeptical of this post before i remembered that mastodon does not have reversible defederations. for me, i can suspend threads without worrying about everyone's relations being destroyed but y'all can't because you're on mastodon. writing this not to criticize you but to remind other admins that instances still run mastodon and are limited by what they can do.
