This is how text-only posts will look like on the pixelfed app, a few things I should mention:

- text only posts won't appear in timelines

- you can't create a top-level text only post

- we have no plans to support first class text-only posts, this is only for compatibility with our microblogging friends like GNU/Social, Honk and others

@dansup text posts should appear on a dedicated timeline on a remote user's profile, as a feature it should basically be like iTunes Ping -- see text updates from artists/etc you care about

Was wondering since Twitter seemed abandoned - maybe leave a message there were to find more about this project? ^^

Any timeline when an app might be available on the playstore for pixelfeld?

Would love to tell my friends about it to ditch instagram and join pixelfed 😀

I love pixelfed - but no mobile and no other friends makes it feel lonely there 😁
