@Reno depends. I created my very first account in late 2017 or early 2018. I felt i couldnt get any traction and left. Then when i decided i had enough of big social in 2019 i came back. I seem to do that with new tech. I dismiss it at first or dont see the utility. Then i come back to it and get the lightbulb moment.

@Reno had diverse accounts since 2012 but always leaving because there were to few exchanges on the subjects I like and too few people I knew. I have been back for some weeks and finally find what I need.

@Reno I think I am approaching a month of usage & I love it! I decided to do a solo instance of Mastodon as I believe that represents the best intent of the software.

@Reno Depends. Set up a Mastodon server 2 or so years ago. Found it pretty shit (to be honest) and dumped it again.

Set up a server again in February and now I'm staying, because it now feels better to me.
