@grishka @darius This Starbucks has a relatively expensive and comfortable interior. Locally owned cafes have better coffee, but are often quite tiny, with just a few chairs. But I do try to keep the wealth local much of the time.

In the US, it's the only chain I'm familiar with that has standardized on the single-stall, gender neutral restrooms that are the norm in much of Europe. They've won me over for that reason. (Although yes, their coffee tastes burnt 100% of the time.)

@fontenot @jonathan @grishka that part is really nice. They're also good for like, reasonably cheap and healthy fast food especially if you're in a part of the country without a lot of options in that realm.

Podcast Host Jonathan, idk, I know a tiny Starbucks (now "Stars Coffee"). The odd thing about it is that it's across an intersection from a larger one.

Anyway, we have a nationwide chain called Surf Coffee, I like it much more, their interiors are cool and unique (2nd pic) and the coffee is tastier than Starbucks.
