@mok0 @dbattistella I’m not sure he would. He doesn’t claim that he broke the law but that’s ok because he did it for moral reasons. His claims are more along the lines of “I never did that and even if I did, the law doesn’t apply to me”

@mok0 @dbattistella @jpkolsen 100% agree with Morten, that kind of messaging is a double-edged sword, particularly at a time when the leader of so-called free-world is looking at dismantling the #judiciary. There is much MUCH more to be lost by undermining the #ruleoflaw or the trust therein. If you live in the USA, you will experience this soon enough.

@sheislaurence @dbattistella @jpkolsen Actually it's what Trump has been working systematically on during the last four years. First of all, diminishing all the judges in his own court cases, then calling the Jan 6. insurrectionists "hostages". His aim is to break down the rule of law, and it's authoritarian dictator 101.
